Hey friend, the truth is, we were made by God, and for God. Our lives will never feel complete without Him.

The Gospel simply means “the good news”, and I’d love to share that with you below…

In The Beginning: At the beginning of time, God created the heavens (the unseen realm) and the earth (the seen realm).

At this time, humanity dwelt with God on earth in a perfect relationship.

The Problem: Sin entered the world through the first humans by an act of selfishness and disobedience to God. This created a separation between God and man and introduced death, sickness, and disease (just to name a few).

The Solution: Through the person and work of Jesus Christ (the son of God), God fully accomplishes salvation and restoration for us by rescuing us from judgment for sin and into a renewed relationship with Him.

The Final Plan: God plans to restore all of creation so that we can enjoy new life together with Him forever.

But until then, we have the opportunity to walk in that new life, empowered by God, if we are willing to receive His gift of salvation…

This is how you receive the gift of salvation

The Bible says in a book called Romans, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

What does it mean for “Jesus to be Lord”?
For Jesus to be Lord of your life means that he is the ruler, the boss, and you surrender your life to his plan and purposes for you. It means you willingly allow him to be the master of your whole life.

And why does it matter that God raised him from the dead?
God will resurrect us bodily, as he did Jesus, through the enlivening action of the Holy Spirit. Life in the Spirit is sharing in the resurrection life of Christ.

Now, if you’re ready, pray this prayer with your whole heart:

Lord Jesus, for too long I have been ignoring you and trying to find my way in life without you. I turn away from my own ways and want to follow you. I believe that you died on the cross and that you rose again in victory over sin and death. I want to live a life with you at the center. Please forgive me of my sin, and release from me the burdens I have been carrying. I want to know you and follow you all the days of my life. Come into my heart and give me a fresh start.
